ONE of the world’s most luxurious superyachts, worth $250m and said to belong to a Russian billionaire, has docked in Darwin Harbour.
The 107m Andromeda has been linked to Russian venture capital investor Yuri Milner, who lives in the United States. However, Yuri Milner’s spokesperson, Alice McGillion denied Mr Milner was the owner of yacht.
“Neither Yuri Milner nor any family member nor any entity affiliated with him or his family owns the Andromeda yacht," she said.
It cruised in from French Polynesia and cut an impressive site towering above the Fort Hill Wharf offices.
The boat’s features include a massive circular wine bar opposite a formal dining area.
On the upper deck and partly covered by the third deck for shade, the swimming pool stretches 12m and is surrounded by lounging areas for guests to laze in the sun.
The 400sq m pool deck has an equally impressive large jacuzzi.
There is a sauna adjoining a large gym.

Of course, no luxury boat would be worth its sea salt without a cinema.
The full cinema offers luxury seats, full surround sound and 3D projection.
The Andromeda can accommodate 30 guests in 15 cabins.
It has a crew of 43 in 24 cabins.
The largest cabin on board is the master cabin, which takes up a full deck and stretches across the 107m beam.
It has panoramic windows on both sides of the cabin and a full-width lounge and office with a private balcony.
The yacht has a custom-built 12m (40’) VanDutch limo tender.
It also has a helipad.

Andromeda was originally built for New Zealand billionaire Graeme Hart.
Launched in 2015 and completed in 2016, the vessel was initially named Ulysses for Hart.
The vessel was sold in 2017 to Mr Milner, who is an early investor in internet companies.
He was a shareholder and chairman of Mail.ru, Russia’s largest internet company.
