Health Minister Natasha Fyles said more than 600 Territory businesses had uploaded coronavirus compliance forms, a short checklist submitted to the NT Government to show how they plan to keep patrons safe, as of Friday morning.
Pubs, cafes, restaurants, gyms and beauticians are among businesses that will be allowed to reopen when the second stage of the NT’s coronavirus restrictions are rolled back at noon on May 15.
The coronavirus compliance checklist was released on Tuesday May 5, and by the afternoon 150 businesses had submitted completed form.
Ms Fyles confirmed there remains two active cases of coronavirus in the NT. Both patients are the ADF members.
As of Friday morning, a total of 5117 tests had been conducted in the NT, up 114 from the day before, and there have been 7910 compliance checks completed on people forced into mandatory quarantine. A total of 46 fines have been issued for breaching isolation rules.
