THE Tracy Village Social and Sports Club hopes to weather the storm after closing its doors amid the coronavirus crisis.
Club manager Robyn Kelleher said the venue had made the hard decisions to stop business and lay-off half their staff following government guidelines to close businesses.

“We noticed that our trade had started to drop over the last month but we did everything that was required to stay open and followed all the guidelines,” Mrs Kelleher said.
“Now we’ve had to close our doors and let off half our staff.
‘We’ve also been ringing suppliers to put everything on hold and will see if there is an initiative we can take advantage of.”
The popular sport club has had its fair share of bumps in the road in recent years, such as going into voluntary administration in 2018, but Mrs Kelleher believes the business will pull through.
“We’ve been through a lot of things in the past five years but I can see us weathering this storm,” she said.
