Handful of BASSINTHEGRASS artists to perform at Sunday’s Mindil Beach Sunset Markets

If you missed out on a coveted ticket to the Territory’s largest festival – BASSINTHEGRASS – you can catch some of the artists tomorrow at the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets.

IF you missed out on a coveted ticket to the Territory’s largest festival – BASSINTHEGRASS – you can catch some of the artists tomorrow at the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets.

BOO SEEKA, ScrubFowl, Casii Williams, Dave Crowe and BASS DJ/MC Vyce Verso will belt out some tunes on Sunday as part of the festivities.

The Day After Festival is a first for BASSINTHEGRASS.

BASS DJ/MC Vyce Verso will take to the sound shell stage at 3.50pm followed by Dave Crowe at 4.10pm, Casii Williams at 5.05pm, ScrubFowl at 6.05pm and BOO SEEKA at 7.15pm.

Mindil Beach Sunset Markets general manager Peter Ayre said he was looking forward to the mini concert and hoped it would attract a crowd.

“They’re the headline for the evening and we’re looking forward to some of the crowd from BASSINTHEGRASS coming down, along with people who missed out on tickets,” Mr Ayre said.

He said Thursday night’s markets had been busy with interstate travellers looking to lap up the Darwin culture.

“It’s a good opportunity for us to showcase Darwin,” he said.
