RURAL area residents south of Humpty Doo will no longer have to make the trek to buy tools and supplies after the opening of the new Home Hardware store in the Berry Springs shopping precinct on Saturday.
Owners Russell and Lindy Willing plan to have the business’s drive-through ready by November so customers can stock up on bulky items like feed and cement.
Mr Willing said the store would also offer services including pool testing and key cutting, as well as barbecues, paint and power tools.
“We’ve invested in a good range of garden and power tools we believe will be appreciated by locals,” he said.
