DARWIN'S newest hair salon may have some clients thinking they’ve walked into a welcoming bar with classy service.

K Bar owner Cass Harris said the hair salon was the Top End’s first keratin bar, adding a sense of calm to her hair cuts.

“The idea was borne out of COVID-19 and lockdown, I wanted to create something that was the look and feel of a bar and function and operation of a salon,” she said.

“Going to the hairdresser isn’t just about getting your hair done, it’s about connecting with people, relaxing, and feeling good about yourself.”

“The space has been created for like-minded people to collaborate together for industry education and client education.”

K Bar is open seven days a week, including nights from Tuesday to Friday.
