AS predicted by the NT News, the Member for Sanderson Kate Worden and the Member for Gwoja Chansey Paech have been rewarded as the new Ministers to join Chief Minister Michael Gunner’s nine man cabinet team.
Ms Worden’s fiesty approach will add bite to Mr Gunner’s team and already she has been tipped as a Labor attack dog during parliamentary sittings.
She has leap-frogged former Resources Minister Paul Kirby and picked up the big responsibility in the hot bed Ministry of Territory Families and Urban Housing.
She picked up two portfolios, Sport and Multi-cultural affairs which will shore up her northern suburb seat.
Mr Paech, who previously was the Territory’s first Indigenous Speaker, has also inherited plenty of responsibility.
