A 60-year-old man has died after falling from a Bayview construction site in an afternoon accident.
NT WorkSafe and NT police attended the scene, a two storey residential construction site, about 3pm yesterday after the incident.
An NT WorkSafe spokesman said the man fell from the first floor of the site but investigations were continuing.

“NT WorkSafe has been notified that a 60-year-old male worker has fallen from the first floor of a residential construction site in Bayview,” he said.
“NT WorkSafe Investigators have attended the site and the incident is currently under investigation.”
St John Ambulance spokeswoman said the man was unconscious when he was taken from the site to Royal Darwin Hospital.
“(The) patient was at a construction site, he had head lacerations and was unconscious and transported to Royal Darwin Hospital,” she said.
“NT WorkSafe were advised of the incident.”
It’s understood the man later died from his injuries.
Last year, 66-year-old mechanic Geoff Polomka was killed in a tragic work site accident in Winnellie.
Mr Polomka was crushed by a vehicle which had fallen off a hoist at a workshop.
