DARWIN CBD hair salon Hair Dude has been granted a liquor licence by the NT Liquor commission, allowing it to serve alcohol to customers.
The licence will allow the business to serve alcoholic drinks to its customers at the Knuckey St salon.
While paperwork still needs to be finalised, Hair dude owner Gary Strachan said it was good to finally receive the tick of approval.

A number of questions were posed to him by panel members Richard Coates, Amy Corcoran and Kenton Winsley during the hour-long hearing.
“A lot of it was about why we should have it, why we should have the liquor licence,” Mr Strachan said.
“I said public demand, people were expecting it coming up from down south and when they arrive here they expect the same level of service they receive in Sydney, Melbourne and other places.”
Mr Strachan said he wanted to thank the public for their support.
“I want to thank (the public and the) readers for their overwhelming support, people saying they want to sign petitions, all the people who have supported us and are looking forward to the same service as in southern states and overseas.”
