THE evolution of Darwin’s Sprout Creative is entering an interesting chapter with owner Anya Lorimer teaming up with one of Australia’s most successful ad agencies, Campaign Edge.

Campaign Edge has offices in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne and is led by Creative Director Dee Madigan, a regular panellist on ABC’s Gruen and a political commentator on Sky.

Campaign Edge Sprout capitalises on Ms Madigan’s 20 years’ experience in the advertising industry and success in developing integrated campaigns for some of the world’s largest brands, including HSBC, Coca-Cola, J & J, Unilever and Nestle.

She has been a winner or finalist at almost all major advertising awards, including Cannes.

Significantly Ms Madigan is one of the nation’s s most experienced political campaigners.

She has been Creative Director on more than 11 elections, including working for the Labor Party on the 2016 Northern Territory election.

“I spent six weeks working in NT in 2016 and fell in love with the place,” Ms Madigan said.

“I have been back and forth numerous times since, looking at business opportunities. I was so impressed with the quality of work that Sprout offers its clients, and we are excited to team with Anya and her crew to make NT advertising the best in the country.”

Sprout, which opened its doors in Darwin back in 2001 in a small shop front at Ludmilla, has grown to be a full service creative agency that specialises in brand management, graphic design, marketing strategies, indigenous communication, websites and cross media creative campaigns.

Ms Lorimer, who is a publisher of Territory Q and Territory Taste and featured at No. 68 on the NT News 120 most powerful list, said she has had a long-standing professional association with the directors of Campaign Edge since 2001.

She said the new Campaign Edge Sprout will offer NT businesses the best in advertising, digital, branding, design and production.

“I have been a driver and a major advocate of the buy local policy that supports Territory jobs, so partnering with Campaign Edge means we get to grow our local capacity and services to offer full service media and creative to Territory clients from our office right here in Darwin,” she said.

“We are incredibly proud of the work we have done to help Territory businesses grow.

And now it’s time for us to grow too.
