CHAMBER of Commerce chief executive Greg Bicknell will resign from his position as an NT business leader at the end of February.

Mr Bicknell said his time at CCNT had been both challenging and rewarding.

“In particular, I acknowledge the support of successive boards, key stakeholders, my dedicated staff, volunteers and the Territory business community.,” he said.

“I wish CCNT every success for the future and look forward to brighter economic times in the coming years.”

CCNT president Greg Ireland said a national search for a new chief executive would begin, with the board and membership sad to see Mr Bicknell leave.

“Over the last seven years Greg has led the Chamber into a secure and viable position, while strongly advocating for the business community of the Northern Territory,” he said.

“The Board as a whole would like to thank Greg for his invaluable service and extend its best wishes for his future endeavours.”
