A $10 MILLION display village, the largest in the Territory, will open at Zuccoli Aspire in March.

Twenty-four homes are being constructed by 19 of the NT’s best builders, including award winners Abode, Vanguard, Overlander and Territory Homes.

Raine and Horne general manager Glenn Grantham said the timing of land release late last year allowed many of the builders to get the foundations and walls up before the wet season set in.

He said Zuccoli Aspire will have more than 1500 homes once completed.

“There is a great cross-section of homes being built out there now,” he said. “The builders are nearing completion on a lot of them and they’ve made sure people can see what a home looks like on the various-sized blocks.

“People will be able to see what a house looks like on a 330sqm block or on one of the 430sqm blocks.

“They will be able to see first hand how much outdoor space do they have. Is it enough? Do they want more? This is important when choosing to build a new home.”

Blocks start from $132,000 for 330sqm. Mr Grantham said the majority of blocks were in the 400sqm to 500sqm size, and were proving a “sweet spot” for local developers Costijic. The majority of the display homes sit in the $500,000 range.

Zuccoli Aspire is located minutes from the Palmerston CBD and 25 minutes from the Darwin CBD. The masterplanned estate offers two schools within walking distance, a shopping precinct and specialty stores.

In December a $1.2 million playground located on the corner of Bloodwood and Windmill streets opened.

Mr Grantham said there had been 260 blocks sold at Zuccoli Aspire since July last year. He said the development was only a fifth of the way through and would continue to evolve over the next four years.

The display village will be opened on March 11.
