Body found ends search for missing teen girl in Hunter Region
The 17-year-old girl has been missing for more than 24 hours after she didn’t return home.

The body of a missing teenage girl has been found on the same stretch of road she was last seen on the day before.
The 17-year-old girl was last seen on Mill Creek Road - a 20km stretch of road that runs from Stroud towards Terreel - about 9am on Tuesday.
When she failed to return home, police were notified and began making inquiries to find her.
About 10am, a body believed to be the girl was located near the road.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
