Rachael “Raygun” Gunn has turned heads after walking down the red carpet for GQ’s Australia Men Of The Year Awards on Wednesday night.
The divisive breakdancing sensation has become one of the most talked about athletes on the planet following her controversial performances during the Paris Olympics.

At Sydney’s White Bay Power Station, Gunn was among a star-studded line-up of Australian celebrities and sporting icons as she showed off completely unseen side.
Gunn, 37, wore a strapless black gown with a lace midsection that exposed her stomach, she finished the look with a black fringe handbag.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph on the red carpet, Gunn was asked who her man of the year was.
“My husband,” she said.
“My husband is my man of the year because he has been absolutely phenomenal supporting me leading up to the Games.
“And then he thought that he’d get a break after that,” she said while laughing.
“No way it’s still all about me.”
Gunn was among a host of Aussie athletes to stroll down the red carpet for the yearly awards night.
Recently retired swimmer Emma McKeon walked in alongside her partner Cody Simpson with tennis champ Dylan Alcott, Olympic gold medallist Noemie Fox and AFL legend Eddie Betts among the invitees.
The night however belonged to Sam Worthington who was named the Man of the Year winner. The Avatar star was presented the award by his wife, Lara.
While Gunn turned heads on the red carpet, Worthington endured an awkward moment when he jumped in to correct a Seven reporter’s gaffe, referring to his wife Lara by her maiden name.
Gunn has continued to make headlines in the wake of her Paris Olympics performances with the 37-year-old linked to Channel 10 reality show I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.
A cryptic clue was posted by the network over one of the potential inclusions for the next season with many believing Gunn would be entering the jungle.
The potential inclusion of Raygun was not well received by fans of the show, who took their grievances out in the comments section. Some even threatened to boycott the show altogether if Raygun is cast.
“I’m boycotting the show if it’s Raygun.”
“I will not watch if ray gun goes into the jungle.”
“Geez I hope not, she’s not a celebrity.”
“Please NOT the ‘breakdancer’ Don’t make me boycott for the first time ever. Noooooo!”
Gunn however moved to rubbish the speculation of joining the popular reality TV series.
“I just don’t think reality TV is the space for me,” she said during a radio interview with Hit Network’s Fifi, Fev & Nick. “So I’m going to focus on things where I can really bring joy and to try and encourage people to be creative.”
She made similar comments on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa with Kate Ritchie: “I mean, look, as someone that went viral from their performance at the Olympics, I think I’ve got a very memeable face. It’s very expressive, and I just feel like going on reality television is just not the right move.”
The reality show is set to premiere on January 19,
