UK has ‘good chance’ of US trade deal
JD Vance is hopeful the US will reach a “great” trade agreement with one of its trading partners, noting the President “really loves” the nation.
The US and UK could be on the verge of a major trade deal, but Vice President JD Vance has said it’s still “very hard”.
On Monday US President Donald Trump met with El Salvador’s controversial leader Nayib Bukele who has called himself the “world’s coolest dictator”.
Mr Bukele created the infamous CECOT prison where thousands of alleged gang members have been jailed seemingly with no chance of release.
The US has also begun sending immigrants who it alleges are gang members to the prison, some with no criminal records.
Meanwhile, Mr Trump has suggested there could be another tariff reduction coming – this time for another industry under financial pain of the import taxes.
As the tariff uncertainty continues, influential MAGA figure Steve Bannon has taken aim at gaffe-prone Howard Lutnick, blasting the Elon Musk-backed Commerce Secretary as “close to being an unmitigated disaster”.
