The bitter fallout from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s trainwreck meeting with Donald Trump is continuing to play out on Monday.

The US President and Vice President JD Vance clashed with the Ukranian leader in a tense meeting on Friday, US time, with the pair accusing Mr Zelensky of being insufficiently “grateful” for America’s aid in the war to repel Russia’s invasion of his country, and of “gambling with World War III”.

The remarks saw hundreds of angry protesters swarm the ski resort where JD Vance was vacationing, forcing the Vice President to move his family to an “undisclosed location”.

Meanwhile, Zelensky has touched down in the UK where he met with King Charles III at the British royal’s Sandringham estate and attended a security summit with world leaders in London.

Following the summit, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer unveiled a four-step plan to help Ukraine, warning Europe is “at a crossroads in history”.
