Joe Biden may be celebrating, but there are still several states left to call and they are headed for a nail-biting finish.
Four states now remain up for grabs. Technically, Mr Biden doesn't need any of them, but the larger his margin is in the Electoral College, the safer it will be from any legal challenges Mr Trump might launch in the coming weeks.
Here is where those states stand.
Georgia (16 electoral votes at stake) – Biden is ahead by 7,547 votes, and the state has declared it will conduct a recount.
Arizona (11 electoral votes at stake) – Biden is leading by 21,188 votes, and that advantage is shrinking with each update.
North Carolina (15 electoral votes at stake) - Trump is leading by 75,433 votes and looks like winning, but we won't know for sure until next week.
Alaska - Trump leads by 52,000 votes there and is expected to win, but only 56 per cent of the votes has been counted.
