Obama plays basketball in election morning ritual

PRESIDENT Obama has been spotted undertaking his election day morning ritual, in a sign nerves may be working their way into the Democratic camp.

PRESIDENT Obama has been spotted playing basketball on a military base in an early morning session — part of an election morning ritual he has conducted since 2008.

The President was photographed on the court at Fort McNair in Washington just before 8am shooting some hoops.

Election Day basketball: Pres Obama left the WH at 747am & is now at the fitness center at Ft. McNair for some basketball with friends.

He has played basketball on both election days during his own run for President. The only time he didn’t was when he lost of the New Hampshire primary to Hillary Clinton.

Friends say it’s not the outcome of the game that matters — just showing up is what counts.

One can only assume that’s not the way the Democrats feel about the election itself.
