Kellyanne Conway’s husband George Conway is slamming Trump on Twitter
KELLYANNE Conway is one of the few staff members from the Trump campaign still working for him. So why has her husband been on Twitter this month constantly attacking his wife’s boss?
KELLYANNE Conway is pretty much the last staffer standing from Donald Trump’s election campaign.
The counsellor to the US President has managed to keep in her bosses good graces where many others have failed.
So why then has her husband, conservative lawyer George Conway, started taking swipes at Mr Trump on Twitter?
Mr Conway only tweeted 31 times in 2017 but in March alone he has fired off 200 tweets, at least half of them are unflattering towards Mr Trump.
He has retweeted criticism over a range of issues including gun control, Stormy Daniels’ affair claims, a potential trade war with China and Mr Trump’s hiring of John Bolton as his National Security Adviser.

Trump on trade wars. Sorry they can't be won. Beware of his false analogy between a single trade and a net Imbalance of overall trade. Hit specific abuses narrowly.https://t.co/nNZq03AcRl

We'll know that the gun-control issue is politically potent one for Dems when they start campaigning on it in the swing CDs they need to win control of Congress.

It is a particularly strange time to be insulting your wife’s boss, given she is reportedly in line to replace Hope Hicks as communications director.
The Huffington Post points out that Mr Conway has been supportive of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to win the election.
He has also retweeted with apparent delight the number of lawyers who have declined job offers to work for Mr Trump.
Mr Conway also retweeted CNN’s white house correspondent Kaitlan Collins when she claimed that the reason Mr Trump has trouble finding people to work for him is because he keeps flip flopping on issues, before adding “So true. It’s absurd,” before adding sarcastically: “Which is why people are banging down the doors to be his comms director.”

The flurry of tweets seem to suggest either Kellyanne Conway and her husband are no longer seeing the same page regarding the Trump Administration or perhaps she is no longer keen to be part of Team Trump.
Mr Conway, a partner at the law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, had been a candidate for the solicitor general post and the front-runner to head DOJ’s civil division until he withdrew his name.
