Desperate Sarah Ransome claimed she made her dramatic escape bid after she was suffering multiple rapes on Little St James in the Caribbean, reports The Sun.

“I had been raped three times that day,” she said. “A shark would have been my best friend at that point. I didn’t even think about it - it was just, get me away.”

Ms Ransome told how she jumped on a quad bike to get away and planned to drive to a beach to swim to the safety of nearby St Thomas.

However, she told the Telegraph she was spotted by Epstein’s security cameras and intercepted in a bid to get her to return to Epstein’s luxury home.

In 2017, she filed a lawsuit against Epstein, his confidante Ghislaine Maxwell, and three others, claiming she was trafficked for sex over a period of seven months.

Ms Maxwell denied the allegations and applied for a Motion to Dismiss the Claim.

The case was eventually settled out of court.

Ms Ransome - born in South Africa to British parents - revealed she was introduced to Epstein in 2006 after being approached by a woman in a New York nightclub.

“She found out everything about me very quickly. I was so broken; I was an open book. It was like: ‘there’s this amazing guy, a philanthropist, this wealthy guy, he’s amazing, he’s helped me so much, he’s helped me achieve my dreams, he can help you,’” she claimed.

A couple of days later she received an invite to the island on Epstein’s private jet - after being told she was banned from drinking or smoking.

“During the duration of the flight everyone had fallen asleep. But I am a complete insomniac on planes. And they started having full on, hardcore sex on the bed, one of the girls and Jeffrey,” she claims

“There was no privacy. They did it in front of everyone.

“And from the time I got onto the island that was when the abuse began.”

Last month, Epstein’s island was raided by FBI agents in speedboats as the probe into his sex trafficking case continues following his suicide.

Investigators scoured the billionaire’s private US Virgin Island - also dubbed “orgy island” - on golf carts as allegations have been made that under-age girls were used as sex slaves and repeatedly abused inside a bizarre temple there.

Footage showed a large group of FBI officers arriving at the pier of Little St James and accessing the disgraced financier’s property with golf buggies.

The raid came after Epstein – who was awaiting trial on child sex abuse charges – died after apparently hanging himself in his New York jail cell, it has been reported.

He died hours after 2,000 pages of legal documents were unsealed by a US court, which contained lurid allegations against him and his former girlfriend Maxwell.

US Attorney General William Barr said the probe into Epstein would continue following his death and that his alleged accomplices “should not rest easy.”

Photos from the raid on his island showed the officers with “FBI” emblazoned on their jackets arriving by boat.

“It didn’t take long for us to realise they must be conducting a raid on Epstein’s house.”

It is feared Epstein may have abused so-called ‘sex slaves” at the lavish Caribbean estate including a bizarre “temple” built on the island.

The billionaire bought Little St James more than two decades ago - transforming it into a high-security private oasis, complete with a mansion and a bizarre blue and white gold-domed structure.
