Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin back by Democratic candidate’s side after email scandal
HILLARY Clinton aide Huma Abedin has been spotted for the first time since finding herself at the centre of her boss’s recent email drama.
HILLARY Clinton has ended her final campaign rally with her embattled aide Huma Abedin by her side.
Ms Abedin was spotted for the first time in nearly a week boarding the Democratic presidential candidate’s “Stronger Together” plane after a rally in Philadelphia on Monday, according to Politico. The Obamas also attended the 33,000-person event where Bruce Springsteen performed.
The estranged wife of wannabe New York mayor Anthony Weiner had been laying low since the FBI announced that new evidence had been found in their investigation of Ms Clinton’s emails.

The evidence was 650,000 emails found on Mr Weiner’s laptop, which apparently was shared by Ms Abedin.
Mr Weiner is under investigation for allegedly sexting a 15-year-old girl. He has recently been photographed at a rehab facility.
On Sunday, FBI Director James Comey said the new evidence did not change a July ruling that cleared Ms Clinton of intentionally mishandling classified messages on a private server.
But Ms Abedin hasn’t been completely off the grid in the aftermath of the email scandal.
On Thursday, she co-hosted a fundraiser with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour at the Washington, DC home of real estate mogul Connie Milstein, The Washington Post reported.
Ms Abedin has been at Ms Clinton’s side for two decades, since she entered the White House as a 19-year-old intern in 1996, assigned to the first lady.
She then served as Ms Clinton’s deputy chief of staff from 2009 to 2013, and as vice chairwoman of her 2016 presidential campaign.
“I have one daughter. But if I had a second daughter, it would be Huma,” Ms Clinton has said.
Ms Clinton has a daughter, Chelsea, with husband Bill Clinton.
