On Wednesday afternoon, the panel requested transcripts for three witnesses who testified in the case against the accused Jeffrey Epstein madam as it entered its 16th hour of deliberations across three days.

The jury asked for testimony from Ms Maxwell accusers Jane and Kate, as well as Epstein’s longtime housekeeper Juan Alessi, in a note sent at about 3.45pm on Wednesday.

About an hour later, the panel was dismissed for the day until Monday.

Jane, a key witness for prosecutors, alleged she was recruited by Epstein and Ms Maxwell, whose birthday is on Christmas Day, at the age of 14 at a Michigan summer camp for the arts.

After she was lured into their orbit, Jane said she was abused by both Ms Maxwell and Epstein and participated in group sex sessions with numerous other women at the age of 14.

Kate, another accuser who took the stand, told jurors that Ms Maxwell asked her to recruit other girls she knew to give Epstein oral sex.

“She would ask me if I knew anybody to come and give Jeffrey a blow job because it was a lot for her to do,” Kate told jurors on December 6.

During a trip to Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion, Kate told jurors that Ms Maxwell had arranged for her to have a schoolgirl outfit for her to wear as she brought Epstein tea.

Juan Alessi, meanwhile, testified about his longtime employment at Epstein’s Florida estate – including how he cleaned up sex toys after the financier’s massages.

“I remember finding a large dildo,” Alessi told jurors on December 2.

“It looked like a huge man’s penis with two heads.”

He recalled wrapping up the sex toy and taking it to the sink and running water over it before putting it in a wicker basket inside Ms Maxwell’s bedroom closet.
