US politics live: J.D. Vance’s family moved to ‘undisclosed location’
The fallout from the Oval Office show-down has turned ugly with America’s Vice President forced to move his family to an “undisclosed location”.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s meeting with Donald Trump ended disastrously, devolving into an all-out row in the Oval Office on Friday.
The US President and his Vice President, J.D. Vance, berated Mr Zelensky in front of the cameras, accusing him of being insufficiently “grateful” for America’s aid in the war to repel Russia’s invasion of his country, and of “gambling with World War III”.
On Saturday morning local time, Mr Zelensky opened up further about how he feels about the conflict and revealed where he stands on their working relationship and deals now.
He’s since had a hero’s welcome in London, while Mr Vance was not as well received as he attempted to take a ski trip in Democrat heartland.
We’re covering all the fallout here. Read on for the latest updates.
