“Take her out! Take her out! We can make it!” a hospital worker was heard shouting, while a nurse gave the girl an injection and another one tried reviving her with a defibrillator.

A doctor pumping oxygen into her told the reporter who was allowed inside: “Show this to Putin. The eyes of this child and crying doctors.”

The tragic six-year-old, who has not been named, could not be saved.

Another girl, named only as Polina, was reportedly also killed alongside her parents in Kyiv.

The fourth grade pupil, thought to be around nine or 10, was killed by a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group who opened fire on her parents’ car, the city’s mayor Volodymyr Bondarenko said.

The girl’s brother is currently at Okhmatdyt children’s hospital and her sister is in intensive care.

Sixteen children have so far died in the brutal war, Ukraine’s Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko told the Rada TV channel on Sunday.

Lyashko branded the Russian troops “terrorists” for targeting civilians.

It is estimated more than 1500 people have been injured in the fighting so far.

Russia has so far fired more than 350 missiles at Ukrainian cities, with many hitting civilians.

Fighting continued in Ukraine over the weekend with explosions heard in cities across the country, including the capital Kyiv, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv. Russian troops have failed to take Kyiv with fighters still mounting a firm resistance after five days.
