Protesters have gathered outside the $7.78 million London flat of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s secret “stepdaughter”.

Protesters told a Russian foreign minister’s alleged stepdaughter “your dad’s a murderer” outside her £4.4 million ($AUD7.78 million) London flat.

Activists also branded Polina Kovaleva, 26, the daughter of a war criminal who allegedly launders his money in the capital.

They gathered outside her flat in Kensington, South London, yesterday to protest Sergei Lavrov‘s involvement in the Ukraine war.

Security staff refused to say whether she was still in London earlier this week.

And MPs have called for her to be added to the hundreds of people already sanctioned for having links to Putin‘s regime.

Her mother Svetlana Polyakova, 51, has reportedly been the mistress of foreign Minister Lavrov, 71, for around 20 years.

Polyakova owns a £5 million ($AUD8.94 million) apartment in Moscow and travels with Lavrov on every foreign trip.

She has been on an official aircraft more than 60 times, anti-corruption foundation FBK alleges.

Protesters say Polina has benefited from the Russian Minister.

She lived in a townhouse apartment in Holland Park, West London, which was owned by the Russian embassy, before buying her own home.

And she bought her current £4.4 million ($AUD7.78 million) property without a mortgage when she was 21.

It is thought she shares the home with her male partner, who has a 10 per cent stake in her investment firm.

The award-winning development boasts far-reaching views with facilities including a pool, gym, spa, cinema, games room and golf simulator, The Times reported.

Maria Pevchikh, an investigator for Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny’s FBK, called for Kovaleva and her family to be sanctioned.

She said: “Polina‘s biological dad isn’t super rich. She doesn’t have an oligarch husband.

“But at the age of 21, she bought this apartment in London on Kensington High Street for £4.4 million ($AUD7.78 million).

“Her only source of money is her unemployed mother who happens to be Lavrov’s informal wife.

“This is the textbook example of unexplained wealth. The property can be legally seized right now.”

She then got a master‘s at Imperial College London in economics and strategy for business and appeared on the university’s website as an ambassador while a student.

Polina said she had developed a “next level work ethic” while on her course.

She went on to work for Russian energy giant Gazprom.

Lavrov, one of Putin‘s most trusted aides, extraordinarily claimed that Russia did not attack Ukraine.

He is seen as an apologist for Putin‘s invasion and has been sanctioned by Britain and the EU.
