Two men charged after Bethany Marie Hill found dead in her apartment
A WOMAN described by friends as a “mini Britney Spears” who was found dead in her unit may have had bleach poured down her throat.
POLICE have launched a murder investigation after a 20-year-old woman was found dead in her flat with neck wounds.
A friend claims Bethany Hill, 20, from the midlands in the UK, may have had bleach poured down her throat.
An ambulance was called to the scene on Hertford Rd in Statford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire around 7pm on Wednesday, February 3, but the victim was pronounced dead shortly after.
Cops have charged two people in connection with the death: Jack Williams, 20, and Kayleigh Woods, 22.
They will appear at Leamington Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
The flat in Stratford-Upon-Avon remains cordoned off and police are investigating a second address in the town.
Meanwhile, friends of Bethany have taken to Facebook to pay their respects.
One friend, Hayley Grubb, wrote: “RIP hunni, you will be sadly missed. Such a kind-hearted person taken way to soon.”
Another, Ella Heywood, posted: “[In] primary school I was convinced you were a mini Britney Spears, I was so jealous of how pretty you were.
“For all the years I’ve known you, you’ve never let me down, never fell out ... You would always make me laugh with your stories or your blonde moments.
“You were even gonna start Geordie lessons this year so you could have the proper accent and go on Geordie Shore so you had every excuse to party.
“You were the perfect best friend. You meant so much to so many people and you’ll forever be in all of our hearts. I’ll never forget you Miss Hill.”
A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “Warwickshire Police offer their deepest condolences to Bethany’s family, who have asked for their privacy to be respected during this difficult time.”
