THE response of emergency workers and medical staff to the London terror attacks has earned them praise from the public after reports of staff rushing in to help victims.

Brits took to social media on Thursday to thank medical workers for their tireless work in treating victims of the terror attack at the scene.

“Incredible actions from the staff at St Thomas’s hospital today,” one person wrote. “Dropping everything to run outside and help”.

Pictures from the immediate aftermath show paramedics, doctors and passers by comforting victims and administering CPR, often covered in blood.

One picture shows a young doctor looking distraught as he walks away from the scene. Others show staff providing extra blankets and emergency service working to save the life of the perpetrator of the attack.
