Live Covid-19 updates: NSW faces horror day with 145 new infections

NSW has recorded its second worst day of the current outbreak, with 145 new infections confirmed as the indefinite lockdown drags on.  

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has revealed yet another day of high case numbers as NSW struggles to contain the latest horror outbreak.

 

 

 

 

Despite harsh lockdown measures, the Premier revealed 145 new cases had been confirmed overnight, following yesterday's 141 cases.

"And I just want to thank the vast majority of our citizens who are doing the right thing," she said.

"And unfortunately, we know that with the Delta strain, it only takes a few pockets of people not doing the right thing to set us back."
