NSW records 882 new Covid cases, two deaths, 143,000 vaccinations in past 24 hours
There are fears NSW may be yet to reach the peak of its outbreak, however, today's numbers could be hiding positive news.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian has announced 882 new Covid cases and two deaths in NSW in the past 24 hours.
143,000 doses of vaccine were administered, meaning 62 per cent of the population aged over 16 have now had one jab.
Ms Berejiklian confirmed students would begin a staggered return to school from October 25. She also revealed HSC exams will be pushed back to November 9.
