As if we needed any more bad news in 2020, department store giant Myer has revealed its annual Christmas window display will not go ahead in Melbourne in December.
It will be the first time the decorations won’t appear in more than 60 years, in response to the city’s coronavirus crisis and the government’s road map out of lockdown.
“…with the Government’s latest announcements and recommendations we are unfortunately unable to proceed with the windows like we have done in past years,” a spokeswoman told the Sydney Morning Herald.
