Coronavirus Australia live updates: Victoria 'won't rule out' more lockdowns
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has outlined what residents need to do to avoid more parts of the state being put into lockdown.
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has said he "won't rule out" placing more parts of the state on lockdown if the coronavirus continues to spread.
Stage 3 stay-at-home restrictions will be put in place for COVID-19 hotspots in Victoria from tomorrow night.
The orders will come into force from 11.59pm on Wednesday, with residents only allowed to leave their homes for four reasons, including for work or school, for care or care giving, for daily exercise, for food and other essentials.
Mr Andrews said that if this initial lockdown wasn't put in place then he would have been "locking down all post codes".
