Child in oncology ward tests positive to COVID-19
A child in the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne’s oncology ward has tested positive to coronavirus.
Victorian Health Minister Martin Foley has told 3AW a child in the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne’s oncology ward has tested positive to coronavirus.
He said authorities were not sure how the child contracted the virus.
“It doesn’t appear to have come from the family, nor does it appear to have come from the rest of the unit,” Mr Foley said.
