Bunnings anti-mask protester Lizzy Rose says she has travelled to “numerous country towns” in Victoria amid the pandemic to get her nails done and “chat with the locals about the truth of the coronavirus agenda”.

The self-described witch, psychic and exorcist became one of the faces of the anti-mask movement over the weekend after she filmed herself proudly maskless in protest against the chief medical officer’s mandatory mask directive during a trip to Bunnings.

She took to Facebook on Saturday to brag about her travels.

“It was wonderful to get my nails done and chat with the locals about the truth of the coronavirus agenda and to encourage people to say NO to wearing a forced facial muzzle of compliance,” she wrote in the post, The Daily Mail reports.

Ms Rose clarified on Wednesday that she’s not breaching stay-at-home orders because she “travels for education purposes” and has a “letter of exemption”, stressing she doesn’t “deliberately travel to random areas”.

“I also travel due to my business to see my clients, along the way I will stop to grab some food or get my nails done,” she wrote. “This is my small way of boosting the economy and keeping my sanity!”

Ms Rose said she did not have to explain her behaviour and that “everything I am doing is normal NOT illegal”.

“No the police are NOT investigating me … I haven’t broken any law and I don’t intend to,” she said.

“Stand up Australia. Wake up. This is an agenda to silence you and to make you conform, this muzzling is NOT to protect your health, in fact it will cause you great long-term harm the more you deplete your oxygen.”

Mandatory mask laws came into effect in Victoria on July 23. The state has recorded 295 new coronavirus cases and nine new deaths in the past 24 hours, although chief health officer Brett Sutton refused to say the peak has passed.
