Heathrow runway demo: 13 charged

MORE than 20 flights have been cancelled after 13 people staged a climate change protest at London's Heathrow airport.

THIRTEEN people have been charged over a climate change protest which caused delays at Heathrow Airport.

CAMPAIGNERS from activist group Plane Stupid staged the demonstration in opposition to airport expansion, causing 22 flights out of the Heathrow to be cancelled.
