Strong quake felt in Athens
ATHENS has been rattled by an earthquake which has struck about 80km north of the Greek capital.
A MAGNITUDE-5.2 earthquake has rattled the Greek capital but it's not immediately clear whether it's caused any damage or injuries.
THE Geodynamic Institute in Athens said the quake occurred at 4:09am (1109 AEST) on Tuesday in the Gulf of Northern Evia, about 80km north of Athens.
