San Francisco's health warning on drinks
SAN Francisco is set to slap health warnings on ads for fizzy drinks, saying they contribute to obesity, diabetes and other health problems.
SAN Francisco will be the first place in the US to impose health warnings on ads for sugary fizzy drinks and some other sweetened beverages.
THE new regulation will affect drinks with more than 25 calories from sweeteners per 12 ounces so advertising for Coca-Cola Zero and other no-calorie drinks won't require a warning, but ads for regular Coca-Cola will.
