Queen to lead tribute to Gurkhas
FOR 200 years Gurkhas have fought alongside British armed forces from Gallipoli to Iraq and Afghanistan, enhancing their reputation as tough fighters.
THE Queen will head a list of royal guests at an event marking two centuries of unbroken Gurkha service to the crown.
THREE generations of the royal family will be represented at the Gurkha 200 Pageant at the Royal Hospital Chelsea on Tuesday night, with Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Prince Harry honouring serving Gurkhas and veterans.
