Macnee 'dear man': Diana Rigg

GAME of Thrones actress Diana Rigg says her The Avengers co-star Patrick Macnee, who has died aged 93, was "a very dear man".

The star of the 1960s spy show The Avengers, Patrick Macnee (R), has died at his home in California.

DIANA Rigg has paid tribute to the actor Patrick Macnee who has died aged 93, describing him as a "dear man".

RIGG played Emma Peel alongside Macnee in The Avengers and most recently found fame as Oleanna Tyrell in the world-wide smash hit TV series Game of Thrones.
