Anti-G7 protestors gear up
A GATHERING of G7 leaders in the German town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen will be disrupted by more than 10,000 demonstrators.
MORE than 10,000 demonstrators are expected to march through the small Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany ahead of a summit of the world's major economies in a nearby luxury hotel.
BY early on Saturday some 1000 protesters had gathered with tents and sleeping bags at a 3000-square-metre camp on an open field surrounding the town. Thousands more were arriving by bus from across the country.
