A baby has been rescued after 22 hours under rubble following the Nepal earthquake
It what can only be described as a miracle, a four month old baby has been pulled from the rubble in Nepal after being buried for 22 hours.
Sonit Awal was rescued after being trapped for 22 hours following the 7.8 magnitude Nepal earthquake that has killed nearly 5,000 and reduced whole cities to rubble.
Nepalese newspaper Kathmandu Today published the amazing images of his rescue taken by Amul Thapa.
The baby boy was rescued by the Nepalese army in the rubble of his family home. According to reports the army had searched for him the with no success and left only to be called back when his father, Shyam Awal heard his son’s cries.
