HAVE you ever stopped to think if you really are liked on Facebook? Serial status updaters can stop and get a reality check through a website that generates new statuses you might say, based on what you have posted in the past.

The Huffington Post reports that the website what-would-i-say.com was created at Princeton University's HackPrinceton 2013 - an event celebrating top hacking skills. It interestingly shows how the world of Facebook and your friends may perceive you. So, if you have a habit of putting up self-indulgent or shouty statuses then expect a rather comical, banal or absurd collection of results that sound like you.

The program trains a Markov Bot and uses "mixture of bigram and unigram probabilities derived from your past post history".

To alleviate any privacy fears the website disclaimer goes on to say, "don't worry, we don't store any of your personal information…only your browser sees your post history."

So, if you want to see how annoying you might really sound on Facebook, give it a go and take heed. Here are some totally bizarre results we got from a collection of Facebook profiles:

News_Image_File: Expect to see some rather odd statuses thrown up. But we can see that some previous tech and food related posts has resulted in this. News_Image_File: Another poetic post from the what-would-I-say.com's generator.
