VISION EMERGES OF MOMENT DUTCH CYCLIST CONFRONTS TEENS AFTER HOTEL PRANK
Confronting vision has emerged of the moment an elite Dutch cyclist chased two teen girls into their hotel room after they pranked him with a game of knock and run.
The footage shows a girl preparing to knock on the apartment door of Mathieu van der Poel at the Novotel Brighton Resort, south of Sydney, last Saturday while her sister films the prank.
But moments later, the girls are heard screaming as the 27-year-old chases them back to their hotel room, which was almost directly opposite his.

The clip ends with van der Poel standing over one of the girls while she cowers in the corner of the room. Disturbing details of the attack were revealed through court documents obtained by NCA NewsWire on Tuesday.
Van der Poel on Monday pleaded guilty in Sutherland Local Court to assaulting the two girls, aged just 13 and 14.
Police reports state the girls knocked on the cyclist’s door multiple times at 10.40pm and ran back into their room, which “frustrated” van der Poel as he had the race the following morning.
