 Tributes flow for Sex and the City star Willie Garson

Moving celebrity tributes are pouring in for actor Willie Garson, who died from pancreatic cancer.
Garson was best known for playing Stanford Blatch, Carrie Bradshaw’s best friend on Sex and the City.
From quick whips to searing one- liners, Garson quickly became a staple of the show’s success.
SATC actress Sarah Jessica Parker initially held off on posting about Garson's death, telling co-star Chris Noth she wasn't ready.
But she has since shared a heartbreaking tribute on Instagram, recalling the last words the actor ever said to her.
"He was smarter and funnier than you ever would have imagined. We are bereft without him."

Garson's other co-stars paid tribute, describing the actor as "brilliant" and a "source of light".
“The Sex and the City family has lost one of its own. In this sad, dark moment, we are comforted by our memory of his joy and light.”

Garson’s adopted son, Nathen, paid tribute to his father in a moving Instagram post.
Garson's passing came just months after SATC announced its return to the screen with the reboot And Just Like That...
