'Real' women walk Miami Swim Week catwalk

Sports Illustrated held a swimwear show on the weekend, praised for “changing the game” with its choice of models.
The show included plus-sized models, mums, and the “oldest, shortest Sports Illustrated rookie ever”, 57-year-old model Kathy Jacobs.
“This is what runway domination at 57 years old and 5’2” looks like on the surface,” Jacobs wrote on Instagram.
Plus-size model Amanda Kay walked the show in a show-stopping pink one-piece.
Other brands followed suit, with PrettyLittleThing featuring 28 models “of all shapes, sizes” in its pledge to be “truly committed to inclusivity”.
The show included transgender stars, pregnant models, disability activists and plus-size models.
Fitness influencer Bruna Lima walked in the show while eight months pregnant.
19-year-old Anna Sarol confidently went down the runway in her wheelchair.
Meanwhile, Aussie label Honey Birdette had RuPaul’s Drag Race star Acquaria appear on its runway.
