‘Disgusting’: Backlash to Kanye’s wild claim
Kanye West has copped intense backlash after debuting a shirt from his latest Yeezy line emblazoned with the words, “White Lives Matter”.
The 45-year-old rapper also made a wild claim about the Black Lives Matter movement, claiming it’s a “scam”.
The statement came after the fashion designer wore the top alongside just-as-controversial political commentator Candace Owens at Paris Fashion Week.
Some of the models in the show also wore the shirt down the runway, as furious fans took to social media to dub the piece “disgusting”.
Many recalled his infamous trip to the White House, in which he wore a “MAGA” hat. West has also caused controversy wearing a jacket with the Confederate flag on it in 2013.
