It took model Natalie Roser and husband Harley Bonner a grand total of four months to plan their wedding.

“Quickly!” Natalie jokes when asked how she managed it. “In a way, it made the process a lot easier.” It helped, of course, that both the bride and groom shared a clear vision.

“Full of feeling,” the bride recalls of their initial ceremony brief. The first stop was Krinklewood Vineyard in the Hunter Valley, an intimate space shaded by climbing ivy and dappled leaves.

Natalie had hosted her 31st birthday there. “Selecting the venue was the easiest part!” she exclaims. “We loved the relaxed, but luxurious energy of the space.”

With the help of stylist Laura from Wanderlust Creative, and planner Georgia from Mrs. Smith Weddings, Natalie brightened up the vineyard and al fresco dining area with an explosion of yellows.

“My hair was based on the potential for hot weather (I was right), and I knew that Harley would love me wearing my hair back. I also loved the idea of something timeless and elegant.”

Radiance and simplicity were also key to Natalie’s bridal look. Her gown, designed by Leah da Gloria, was opulent in silhouette: off-the-shoulder, with a plunging illusion neckline and full princess skirt.

“I wanted to feel comfortable and for the dress to have a real presence without feeling too heavy.”

“I wore a pair of drop diamond earrings. I also wore my grandmother’s engagement ring, which was a newly redesigned sapphire ring that I borrowed from my mum.”

Happily ever after in the Hunter.
