Brooke Blurton made history this month as the first bisexual Bachelor/Bachelorette star with both men and women vying for her affections.

And the significance of what she is undertaking  hasn't been lost on the 26-year-old:  "I am still processing the gravity it holds.”

A proud indigenous Australian, Blurton is not new to the franchise. She appeared as a contestant on the Nick “Honey Badger” Cummins season of The Bachelor in 2018.

"This season is going to be one to remember but I think it is also going to really challenge preconceived ideas of what sexuality looks like and of what Aboriginal culture looks like.”

Burton also appeared on the spin-off series, Bachelor In Paradise, and has been romantically linked in the past to singer G-Flip and AFL player Jed Bews.

On this season of Bachelorette Australia, eight women and eight men will meet Burton for the first time, hoping to find love.

During her appearance on Nick Cummins’ season of The Bachelor, Brooke revealed she wanted to end up with a man and have children.

So will she end up with a man, a woman, or none like the Honey Badger? You’ll have to watch...
