Disturbing new claim in Alec Baldwin shooting

Location manager for the film Rust, Stacey Evans, has opened up about the tragic accident in which actor Alec Baldwin fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

According to a warrant from the ongoing police investigation, an assistant director handed the gun to Baldwin and told him it was “cold” before he fired it, fatally striking Hutchins.

Evans’ comments come as a disturbing new report claims that the prop gun that killed Halyna Hutchins had been used by crew members offsite “for fun”.
Multiple sources connected to the film told TMZ the gun was fired at off-the-clock gatherings – which could be how a live round found its way into the gun’s chamber.
The film’s armorist, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, has been under intense scrutiny since the accident.
The last movie she worked on was briefly stopped after the 24-year-old allegedly gave a gun to an 11-year-old without checking it properly.
Amid the speculation, Baldwin was “hysterical and absolutely inconsolable for hours” following the fatal shooting, reportedly cancelling all future projects.
