The trade and free agency period presents AFL players with a great chance to explore their options and revitalise their career. Here are 10 who could use a change.

A high-disposal midfielder, Lipinski has nominated Collingwood as his preferred destination — and it looms as a win-win for both parties.

Patrick Lipinski (Bulldogs)

A 2018 first-round draftee, Clark can't crack the Cats line-up. The Dockers are prepared to offer Clark a long-term deal if they can satisfy Geelong’s needs.

Jordan Clark (Cats)

Wallis is 28 but still has ample to offer on the field. Bombers great Tim Watson believes Wallis would be ideal at Essendon.

Mitch Wallis (Bulldogs)

A top-10 pick that’s only  played 25 games in five seasons for the Suns, Brodie is set  to explore his options. He’s been linked to the Bombers in the past.

Will Brodie (Suns)

The big American is unlikely to remain at the Pies. The Brisbane Lions could use another tall, along with Gold Coast, Fremantle and Essendon.

Mason Cox (Magpies)

Coleman-Jones has only played nine matches after being taken with Pick 20 in the 2017 draft. He’s set to join North Melbourne on a long-term deal.

Callum Coleman-Jones (Tigers)

Constable has been on the fringes of Geelong’s best 22 for years. His manager, Marty Pask, said there had been “moderate” interest from rival clubs.

Charlie Constable  (Cats)

Out-of-contract Brander has been in trade whispers for years. He’s been linked to Carlton, where he could be used on a wing or in defence.

Jarrod Brander  (Eagles)

Dunstan polled 11 Brownlow votes but has said he wants to find a new footy home. The Gold Coast, Essendon and Port Adelaide loom as options for him.

Luke Dunstan (Saints)

Ladhams is still contracted to Port, but the club reportedly would consider trading him. The Cats and Bulldogs have both been linked to the ruckman.
