THIS new hotel planned for Peru is sure to have many on edge.

The cliff-hugging building has a rather unconventional design - it's shaped like a huge, crooked photo frame. And it's name? The 'Unbalanced Hotel', not exactly the most comforting of names for a hotel perched on the edge of a cliff.

It's hoped the hotel will become a landmark for the capital of Lima.

Designers OOIIO didn't want to block the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean on one side, and the Andes on the other, so they decided to put a hole in the middle.

It will be built just outside the city centre and will have the Pacific Ocean on one side, and the Andes on the other.

There will be 125 rooms, restaurants and exhibition spaces. No opening date has been mentioned.
